Time to Pour Some Concrete, Baby!

Next came the MEGA POUR.  Hamilton had all of us arrive bright and early....he said be there at 0700....and forgot to tell us, the truck was coming at 9...he got there at 0830...Ok, maybe not THAT late...So enjoy the video file.  The date of the pour was Oct, 2009....it's been a long trip.

As you can see, it took a cast of thousands.   And not a single drop of concrete was wasted.

Pavers were installed around the grill.  Due to the irregular shape of the concrete perimeter, this required lots of trimming.  Carl was willing to sacrifice his fingers, but fortunately it did not come to that.....

The metal work is courtesy of Iron Dog.  It is super sweet.  The doors move and everything.
